Mudit & Aakanksha Delhi : Meet Aakanksha, a bride whose off-shoulder red blouse has taken over the internet!

Aakanksha and Mudit recently tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at Delhi. You may know this bride as the one who wore a red lehenga with an off-shoulder blouse and broke the internet! We assure you her blouse is not the only one that’ll catch your eye. Every outfit that she chose, her subtle makeup and minimum jewellery has made her stark apart from the other brides!

Their Story

Aakanksha and Mudit’s is not a typical love story. They had both set out with their search on a matrimony site and stumbled upon each other by coincidence. With Mudit working in the US and Aakanksha here in India, they were mostly found either talking on video calls with each other or exchanging texts on Whatsapp. “We knew we had time at our hands and our parents never pressured us into any anything, so we took our time to explore and understand each other.”

Mudit made special trips to India as he knew Aakanksha was the one and just needed that one final push to take the plunge. The couple met frequently, made short trips to different places together, before signing the deal! Eventually they had their parents meet, which was super awkward situation for them, nervous as hell, they were only praying things would work well and they did! Very soon, the two families were planning out the wedding and the various other events preceding the main one.

The Bride says..

Our wedding planning was super fun- we knew what we wanted the most- simplicity and elegance and we think that has totally reflected off our wedding decor, food, outfits -everything!

We wanted things to be simple, beautiful, yet fun. most importantly, as a couple we wanted to be in the moment and truly enjoy every bit of it. Which we did!

we got on to work as one big family and divided all responsibilities amongst ourselves, which was great! everyone was involved and there for each other…there was enough time for everything that way.
