There’s nothing more surreal than marrying your childhood, is there? We think not! And Amreen and Anup’s love story is a testament to this fact.
Amreen Khurana and Anup Singh met in school. They knew each other from sixth grade but love blossomed in the 10th grade. And years later, they decided to tie the knot!
Growing up, Amreen followed her passion for becoming an entrepreneur while Anup chose to work Indigo Airlines. And when they decided to tie the knot, both their parents approved wholeheartedly as both belonged to the same cultures and were from the army background.
So, let’s fast forward to the wedding…
The Wedding
The Wedding was hosted at the Fortune Park Boulevard Hotel in Delhi. It was a daytime Sikh wedding hosted in the hotel’s garden area. The couple wanted an intimate and chic wedding. The stage was beautifully decked in layers of pink and white roses in the backdrop while green foliage with white flowers made up the overhanging’s. Overall, the décor was very serene.
Amreen the bride chose to wear a contemporary baby pink lehenga with a fitted, strappy blouse in velvet. She completed her look with a simple bun and delicate gold jewellery. In fact, her necklace, earrings and mang tikka, all set in gold had tiny green and pink stones and pearl droplets. Her baby pink Chooda and matching pink bindi completed her look.
Her makeup was very light and soft in shades of pink which gave her a simple yet a very fresh look.
Anup, the groom chose to wear a baby pink turban to match his bride along with his dark blue kurta and light blue bandi jacket.
Unlike a Gurudwara wedding, they chose to solemnise their wedding in the hotel with all their friends and family in attendance.
