Ralph & Aradhna Goa : A confluence of cultures, two weddings, and an enviable love story- this wedding had it all!
“Forever is a long time. But, I wouldn’t mind spending it by your side.”
A love story synonymous with forever
Aradhna and Ralph’s enviable love story began 14 years ago in Kuwait. It was more like an adventure, a montage of SRK’s romantic films. The two started dating in high school, which transitioned into a 5-year long-distance relationship during University, only to later unite in Kuwait and convince their families of why they were perfect for one another and why her being a Hindu and him being a Roman Catholic shouldn’t be an issue!
These two love birds complement each other extremely well. Aradhna or Ara, a Stylist and Art Director by profession, she is fearless, confident, enjoys her Indian traditions, loves travelling, and is a foodie. While, Ralph is a crowd pleaser, selfless, passionate, an avid toy and book collector, humorous, and a kid at heart.
P.S. It is safe to say that no one can understand Mr. Jones (Ralph) better than Ara.
The Wedding Festivities
Mehendi
The mehendi was an intimate affair with Aradhna dressed in a peach and ochre outfit. Not to miss her oh-so-gorgeous mehendi designs. The decor was chic and colourful with marigolds, painted earthen pots, and colourful drapes.
Sangeet
The Sangeet saw the couple dressed in beautiful outfits- Ralph wore an offbeat white kurta and churidar, paired with an apricot bandhgala jacket and Aradhna flaunted an aqua blue anarkali replete with floral motifs, paired with a baby pink sheer dupatta.
The function witnessed ralph going down on his knees and proposing to the beautiful bride and of course a whole lot of dance performances.
Haldi and Hindu Wedding
The haldi was all FUN!
The bride wore a mango yellow and red maxi dress and Ralph wore a white kurta and churidar. Their friends and family were seen having a gala time with the couple.
Aradhna looked like a million bucks in a baby pink elegant lehenga. The tassels on the ends of the dupatta, the offbeat maangtikka and the statement choker made this ensemble stand out even more. Ralph complemented her extremely well in a similar-hued kurta.
Extra brownie points for the couple for perfectly coordinated outfits 🙂
Church Wedding
After the Hindu wedding, it was time for the church wedding!
Aradhna looked nothing short of a princess in an opulent white wedding gown with a long trail and paired her gown with red and white pumps. Ralph looked dapper in a classic white tuxedo with black trousers.
Post the church wedding, friends and family seemed to be having a whole lot of fun while getting clicked.
Reception
This was yet again a super chilled-out ceremony. Aradhna wore a shimmery blue dress paired with dainty trinkets, while Ralph complemented her in a crisp blue tux. The function witnessed dancing, games and cutting a sumptuous cake.
Best moment
The groom says, “One of our favourite moments was during the reception, just looking around and thinking that all these people are here because they love and support us, and just feeling really lucky that everything came together and everyone was here celebrating with us!”
