Ankit & Naina Delhi : The refreshing decor, classy outfits and the cute lil Doggo made this wedding a noteworthy affair!
This wedding not only had breathtaking decor and opulent outfits, but it also had the bride’s cute little dog who flaunted customised outfits at every event, making our heart melt.
About the couple
Ankit and Naina met through common friends and took an instant liking towards one another. Naina was visiting home for Diwali from her University in Cardiff. She was attending quite a few Diwali parties and gatherings. It was at one such party that she bumped into Ankit. They were dating other people at that time, so they never thought of anything on the lines of dating.
They belonged to similar professions (Naina runs a PR agency and Ankit a film company) and had a lot in common and never ran out of things to talk about. What was most surprising was that they took an instant liking for each other. Before they knew it, they had become very close friends.
They had a huge group of friends and everyone always thought that something going on between the two of them. They, however, kept denying it. One fine day, after lots of cups of coffee and long conversations, Ankit expressed his feelings towards Naina. Four years later, they stood in the middle Hyde Park where Ankit officially proposed to her and 14 months later they tied the knot.
Till date when they look back it is unreal how two completely different people met, became friends and then fell for one another.
The Wedding Festivities
The bride and her mother both expert planners took on the entire responsibility and were involved in every step from the customization of different elements to ensuring there was something for everyone. Their wedding coordinators were extremely helpful and helped stitch things together.
Sagan, Sangeet,and Cocktail
The couple had all three ceremonies clubbed into one. The decor was scintillating, edgy and modernistic. Naina wore a blue, heavily embellished
Lehenga. She paired it with a stunning paanchlada polki necklace, earrings, and a maangtikka.
Ankit donned an asymmetrical bandgala jacket, with a statement brooch pinned on it. The ceremony witnessed the couple set the stage on fire with their dance performances.
Mehendi
The bride flaunted a gorgeous ochre-yellow shimmery lehenga, paired with a long emerald necklace and matching earrings and maangtikka. The decor was peppy and full of vibrant colours like yellow, blue and pink.
Wedding
Naina looked stunning in her traditional red lehenga, while Ankit wore a beige and dull gold sherwani. The opulent floral mandap, completely stole the show.
