Gaurav & Payal Mumbai : Simple Maharashtrian Wedding with Exquisite Decor Details

Payal and Gaurav’s celebration was full of new ideas, age-old rituals, breathtaking décor and the simplicity of a maharashtrian marriage all amalgamated into one. This wedding proved yet again that beauty lies in simplicity. This couple took two elements and made their wedding so breathtakingly beautiful that we were left stunned! Marigolds and fairylights. Marigolds on the mandap, the table centerpieces, as well as on Payal’s bridal bun. Glistening fairylights were thrown over bunched tree branches and large tree barks, and also strung with gorgeous glass lamps filled with fresh flowers.

Payal maintained the grace of a quintessential Maharashtrian bride with her traditional green bangles, the thushi necklace and her elegant chrome yellow and green nauvaari saree. But our favorite thing about this stunning bride was her fresh flower adorned bridal bun. Payal’s bridal updo was done in a mesh design with Jasmine buds surrounded by a gajra made with Marigold and Rajnigandha flowers – absolutely gorgeous!
