Prachi and Sahil’s must see travel themed pre-wedding shoot!
“Let’s go on a road trip.“ I wanted to say, “I’ll pack a toothbrush and you bring the camera. Let’s drive to new cities where we’ve never been, and fall in love with the noise. Let’s set up camp at the bottom of a mountain; go hiking until we reach the sun. Let’s fall asleep along the beach and wake up with the ocean at our feet. Let’s laugh at the way we get caught in the rain. Let’s kiss under a hundred trees. Let’s wake up at 5 AM and watch the sunrise, or wake up at 11 AM and let the sunrise watch us.“ I wanted to say, “Let’s fall in love like it’s the first time. Let’s pretend to meet again. Maybe this time we’ll be able to work things out. Maybe this time we won’t mess things up.” — Sue Zhao
Prachi and Sahil – two crazy heads have known each other since their school days, are getting married now and decided to have a very unconventional pre-wedding shoot shot beautifully by Shutter Down.
This adventurous couple picked a travel themed pre-wedding photoshoot at Saputara where they backpacked and trekked across gorgeous locales, and had the time of their lives! Don’t believe me? Take a look at their pictures yourself:
If you are wondering, why did they pick this travel-themed shoot, here’s what the bride had to say about it, “Sahil and I are very camera conscious and never in our wildest dreams would have thought of doing something like this. Although a photoshoot was the last thing on our minds, our parents managed to push us into it and it was one of the most interesting experiences we’ve ever had!”
She continues, “Once we fixed a shoot date, we began looking for ideas. We wanted the photographs to reflect our true personalities instead of looking like another run-of-the-mill series of romantic pictures. Thus began our quest for a theme that would define us and we settled on a backpacking theme. The two of us are very fond of travelling and going off the beaten path; so, in the images, we wanted to look like comfortable travellers who are on a mission to explore the world together.”
Well, I dunno about you, but I am all set to pack my bags and pose for pictures like these!
