Mudit & Pritika Jaipur : This gorgeous destination wedding is an inspiration for everyone.
Having known each other ever since they were in kindergarten, this couple decided to finally get hitched and spend the rest of their lives together! Pritika and Mudit had their dreamy destination wedding at Taj Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur and we are totally swooning over their wedding pictures!
The Love Story…
Pritika and Mudit’s love story is nothing short of a romantic Bollywood movie. They had the same set of friends, went to the same school, fell in love with each other and finally got married!
“Mudit has always been the calm to my crazy and we always gelled well. We have always shared the same interests and values and that made being with him, extremely surreal. And isn’t that what anyone would want. To live with your best friend, do all the fun things together and just be eternally happy?”
And just like that, after 13 years of being together, they finally thought of getting hitched in an extravagant destination wedding.
The Proposal
A love story like this wouldn’t need a proposal, when their hearts got connected and knew they were each other’s forever.
“No one proposed because we always knew we wanted to get married to each other. But to make up for it, Mudit planned a surprise proposal for me in Dubai while we were vacationing with our friends.”
Yes, they planned to get married way before either of them proposed. But a surprise proposal is always a memorable one, so was it for this super cute couple.
The Wedding Festivities…
The couple being very much of a perfectionist, planned their own wedding.
“I like everything perfect and I coordinated with most of our vendors. While Mudit was always away in Bangalore, he put in all his efforts to make our wedding memorable.”
Their families and friends have all been so supportive to execute what they planned out and made it nothing less than a royal wedding.
The Mehendi Ceremony – A Rajasthani Carnival
The wedding celebrations started off with a colourful and vibrant Rajasthani Carnival theme. The colourful decoration with multi-hued drapes along with the traditional Rajasthani bandhani dupattas, Rajasthani oxidised rings and bangles, made the ceremony so lively.
Since they loved Rajasthani theme and culture so much, they also had a bangle maker who made various types of rings and bangles for all the ladies in the house! And the family grooved to cheerful music.
The Sangeet aka the cocktail party
The couple loves dancing! And that was much evident at their sangeet ceremony where the couple danced their hearts out.
“We love dancing! And on our sangeet night, I had 11 dance performances with Mudit, my friends and cousins, while Mudit had 9 performances.”
“Despite being all around the globe, our cousins and friends put up remarkable efforts and made it a great show!”
That is not all about their sangeet, the couple and their squad had an after party (cocktail party) with some interesting stories…
The Haldi Ceremony…
The couple had a classic Bengali theme where everyone was dressed in red and white, while Pritika’s bridesmaids adorned the same saree..
“I had specially arranged same sarees for all my friends and all of us had a blast. Our pictures are the proof.”
The Brunch…
Pritika and Mudit’s wedding was an extraordinary fun affair. In the afternoon on their wedding day, the couple planned brunch and flew in a band from Pune for another dance sesh, some games and live photo painting for the guests!
The Wedding…
And finally the day arrived and the coupled tied the knot in traditional Bengali rituals.
The wedding was nothing short of royal with everything red and gold. The stunning decor matched with the royal palace.
