This Curvy Sikh Bride Flaunted the Prettiest Outfits
Busting the myths revolving around the ideal image of what a bride should look like on her D-day, Ishleen Kaur Sethi proved that the only curve one should concentrate on is the smile.
Amidst people constantly urging to-be-brides to shed the extra kilos and the hesitation attached to ‘Log kya kahenge,’ this bride broke stereotypes and flaunted gorgeous ensembles on her mehendi and wedding ceremony.
The bride says and I quote, “Lose some weight, you’ll make a stunning bride, they said. Losing weight or not, I still made one hell of a bride and there is no denying that. Lol!”
A real inspiration for brides who are often bogged down and forced to look a certain way, Ishleen took pride in her style and here is a glimpse of it:
P.S- No prizes for guessing that she looked nothing short of a million bucks!
Mehendi ceremony
Ishleen Kaur Sethi says and I quote, “When you’ve been a tomboyish girl who paints her nails to look like a girl all her life, but suddenly you are expected to smile and act shy and coy, you know you are about to become an Indian bride.”
She wore a yellow-ochre off-shoulder maxi dress with beautiful embellishments on it. The dress had a bunch of pink tassels and was paired with a sheer pink dupatta. The bride flaunted gorgeous white and rani pink floral jewellery with gold beads, adding some contrast. Not to miss the pretty baby breaths in her plaited hair and her quirky nail art.
The groom wore a pista-green kurta, white churidar, grey printed jacket, and a contrasting orange turban. The bride and groom having a gala time while playing the dhols at their mehendi ceremony.

The bride wore a bottle green Anarkali for her Anand Karaj (Sikh wedding). The outfit was replete with heavy gold embroidery and the beautiful pink net dupatta added the much-needed contrast to the ensemble.
She wore stone-encrusted gold jewellery, which included a classic mang tikka, nose ring, earrings, and a statement choker. Not only this, but she also wore a stunning pair of anklets.
